Bridge To Terabithia

A movie of wonders and magical dream story

I would like to give a round of applause for this amazing well-taken movie directed by Gábor Csupó and adapted for film by David L. Paterson and Jeff Stockwell. The movie takes on a roller coaster of emotions from being heart warmed loving movie till it all crumbles. The movie is about two young children who imagine beyond than other people turning imaginations to reality. The other people think these kids are childish and boring hence only the two of them understand each other and they bring the most out of their imagination making their kingdom and seeing the whole world from above their tree house in the forest.

Based on my opinion, this movie has melted almost everyone's heart and made us realize that eventually, in the end, everyone must leave their fantasy world and return to reality. The movie will just leave you with tears and sorrow as it did to me. I felt very touched and connected with the movie. The story very much reflects me. I love to imagine I was in stories of make-believe and always dreamed to leave behind reality. This movie depicts exactly what I have always visioned to have, a world of my own, vast thinking of imagination and a friend who understands what I feel and think. It was heartbreaking and sad for me especially the twist at the ending of the movie( i won't give spoilers hehe ).

I highly recommend people watching this movie. It is a movie that a lot of people can relate and have always felt the ideology of leaving reality is something realistic and optimistic but its a false hope. People are so stressed in their daily life they do not have an open window to escape the real world into a world with no worries, only filled with beauty and evergreens, a utopia. Sometimes even I personally feel the way everyone feels and have come to decide and hope that I could believe in fantasy. Believing is a sign of hope. Never lose that hope and use that as a motor force to keep you running to achieve your dream. You will never know if you do not try.
