When a sane person can wear a mask to become the devil, one becomes the Joker

Joker(2019) was a blockbuster of a movie that has left the audience including myself at the edge of our seats with the amazing performance of star actor Joaquin Phoenix. The cinematography, attire, sound and setting, narrative, and particularly the acting from Joaquin's part are nothing short of masterful, I can think of few movies that can truly top this beautiful, entrancing, dark and hypnotic journey that Arthur Fleck goes through as he spirals into chaotic madness and ironically, for the first time in his life perhaps, happiness, the beauty in chaos as some would say. Not only that but this movie is meant to act as a mirror for the viewer, which few other films in cinematographic history have managed to pull off successfully, and Joker goes above and beyond and does it flawlessly.

The movie of imperfections was exactly what the movie shined at its greatest. The movie reflects on the people of today. In my opinion, the movie was an easy 10/10 rating with everything about it being almost imperfectly perfect. The movie not only touched my heart but it was also a life lesson to me. The movie had me thinking about the current issues that are arising in the world with the high rates of unemployment, the rising of power in the hands of the rich but all it takes is a stand on the podium and a voice (hear it good or bad) against the established power to become the 'HERO' in which further became the reason of the rise in murders & crime in cities. The movie is twisted with its tale for viewer having to interpret the movie in their understanding( the ending of the movie) which comes to show the psychological understanding of this mad man who turned evil because of the gruesome pain of the world. I think something I always enjoy in serious movies is when it shows cruel honesty (which this movie did show) because for Arthur, also known as The Joker even though it seems harsh and callous, the world might not have anything nice to say about you and also chooses to abuse and mistreat you, even if you are a nice guy struggling to remain sane amidst the mental and psychological demons that you try your utmost to suppress but the world seems hell-bent on you giving in and succumbing to those demons possibly the quote "You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain" could very well be the underlying idea of this movie.

One thing that amazes me to this day is how the movie added a spark of the real world and proves such a man can indeed be created by society. I am not a huge fan of drama movies to such an extent, but I do not dislike them, and indeed this film, in my opinion, is a MASTERPIECE. A highly recommended movie for everyone to watch and to understand the varies of understanding in this gem of a movie.
